
Puttur, July 27, 2025: In a spiritually significant event, the highly esteemed Sri Shanmukha Subrahmanya Sri Mahavishnu Temple, situated in the quaint locality of Kemminje, Puttur, has announced grand celebrations for Nagara Panchami on July 29 and the ensuing monthly Shashti on July 30. The temple committee extends a warm invitation to all devotees to actively participate and receive the sacred benedictions during these auspicious days, which are marked by time-honored customs and rituals.
On Tuesday, July 29, the auspicious Nagara Panchami festivities are set to commence at 7:00 AM sharp at the Nagabana with the reverential Tambila Seva. The religious fervor will continue with the grand Mahapooja, scheduled to take place at midday (seva charges are ₹150). The celebratory spirit will be further enhanced with the communal Annasantarpane in the afternoon. Following the next day, Wednesday, July 30, the Shashti event will unfold with the significant Halu Payasa Seva (costing ₹100 per service), yet another Mahapooja, and the customary Annasantarpane to culminate the day's activities.
