Puttur, August 4: Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (CAMPCO) has released its daily procurement prices for agricultural commodities at its Puttur branch for Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The revised rates provide an important market benchmark for thousands of growers in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Shivamogga and neighbouring districts who market their produce through the cooperative.
The latest price list shows that good quality Chali Arecanut and Double Chali Arecanut continue to command the highest procurement price among arecanut varieties at ₹550 per kg. Wet Arecanut is being procured at ₹475 per kg for good quality produce, while the moisture-grade rate stands at ₹410 per kg.
Pepper Prices Remain Strong
Pepper growers also received encouraging rates. Campco has fixed the procurement price of good quality dry pepper at ₹375 per kg, while wet pepper is priced at ₹370 per kg. The moisture-grade rates are ₹345 per kg for dry pepper and ₹320 per kg for wet pepper.
Coffee and Cocoa Rates
For coffee, the cooperative has announced a maximum procurement price of ₹270 per kg for both wet and dry coffee. The moisture-grade prices are ₹130 per kg for wet coffee and ₹120 per kg for dry coffee. Cocoa prices remain unchanged, with both wet cocoa and dry cocoa fetching up to ₹320 per kg, while the moisture-grade rate is ₹300 per kg.
Coconut and Rubber
Campco will procure wet and dry coconut (copra) at a maximum price of ₹255 per kg, with the moisture-grade rate fixed at ₹225 per kg. For other commodities, coconut husk is priced between ₹70 and ₹100 per kg, while coconut fibre will be purchased at up to ₹320 per kg. Among all commodities listed, rubber sheet recorded the highest maximum procurement price at ₹680 per kg, with the moisture-grade rate fixed at ₹450 per kg.
