Mangaluru, 16 August 2026: A 10-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme for men and women aspiring to start their own businesses will be held in Mangaluru from August 24 to September 4.
The programme is being sponsored by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods and organised under the aegis of the Karnataka Entrepreneurship Development Centre (C-DAC), Dharwad, Mangaluru, the District Industries Centre and the District Skill Mission. The training will be conducted at the Yuvavahini Kendra Samiti at Urwa in Mangaluru.
Men and women from all communities who are between 18 and 45 years of age and have passed Class 10 are eligible to participate. The programme is intended to benefit aspiring self-employment candidates from Dakshina Kannada district. Interested candidates can contact the C-DAC Deputy Director’s Office on the second floor of the Urwa Market building in Mangaluru. Applicants are required to submit the application along with three passport-size photographs and a copy of their Aadhaar card at the office. The C-DAC Deputy Director has urged eligible self-employment aspirants in Dakshina Kannada to make use of the programme.
