Bengaluru, August 27: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadlines for candidates seeking admission through UGCET-2026 to Engineering and other CET courses.
Candidates who received seats in the second round of seat allotment can now select their choice up to 11.59 pm on August 29, 2026. Extension applies to courses including Engineering, Architecture, Yoga and Naturopathy, Farm Sciences, Veterinary Science, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, Pharm-D, BPT, BPO and Allied Health Sciences.
Revised UGCET-2026 deadlines
- Choice Selection: Up to 11.59 pm on August 29
- Fee Payment by Choice-1 candidates: Up to 2 pm on August 31 during banking hours
- Download Seat Confirmation Slip: After fee payment, for Choice-1 candidates
- Reporting to allotted college: Up to 6 pm on August 31
Choice-1 candidates must pay the prescribed fee, download the Seat Confirmation Slip and report to the allotted college with the slip within the specified deadline. KEA said the extension has been provided after announcing the final second-round seat allotment results on August 24.
Authority has also directed all participating institutions and colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days to ensure compliance with the counselling schedule. Announcement was issued by H. Prasanna, IAS, Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, on August 27.
