Puttur, 2 September 2026: Students of Nellikatte Ambika Pre-University College, managed by the Nattoja Foundation in Puttur, have been selected to participate at the national level after securing top positions in the state-level swimming competition organised by Vidya Bharati at RVK Banashankari in Bengaluru.
First PUC student Samruddh L. Shetty won first place in both the 200-metre backstroke and 100-metre backstroke events. He also secured second place in the 100-metre freestyle, 400-metre freestyle and 400-metre individual medley events. His performance earned him selection for the national-level competition.
First PUC student Lasya Santosh won a bronze medal in the 50-metre breaststroke, along with silver medals in the 100-metre butterfly and 100-metre backstroke events. She has also been selected to compete at the national level.
