Puttur, 02 October 2026: Nelyadi Power Substation to Remain Shut on October 3 for Maintenance. Power supply will be temporarily disrupted in areas served by the 33/11 kV Nelyadi Electricity Substation on October 3 due to scheduled maintenance and repair works.
According to a MESCOM notice, maintenance work will be carried out on the 33/11 kV Savanur–Nelyadi electricity lines and at the Nelyadi substation. Power shutdown is scheduled from 10 am to 5.30 pm on October 3.
Consumers receiving electricity supply through all 11 kV feeders originating from the Nelyadi 33/11 kV substation have been requested to take note of the planned shutdown and cooperate with the maintenance work. MESCOM has advised affected electricity consumers to make necessary arrangements in advance.
