KAS Officers Transferred Across Karnataka in Major Administrative Reshuffle

 

Bengaluru, June 18, 2025: In a significant move to enhance administrative efficiency and public welfare, the Karnataka government has issued immediate transfer orders for several Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) officers. The reshuffle, effective immediately and valid until further notice, involves key postings across various departments and districts, reflecting the state’s commitment to streamlining governance.

Key Transfers and Postings

1. Dr. Channappa A, KAS (Senior Super Time Scale), previously Registrar (Administration) at Raichur University, has been appointed as Registrar (Administration) at Karnataka University, Dharwad, replacing Dr. Shankarappa Vanikyal.
2. Roopashree K, KAS (Senior Super Time Scale), Joint Director at the Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru, takes over as Registrar (Administration) at Mandya University, filling a vacant post.
3. Dr. Rudresh S Ghali, KAS (Super Time Scale), Commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, has been reassigned as Additional Commissioner of the School Education and Literacy Department, Dharwad, succeeding Jayashree Shintri.
4. Pushpalatha H, KAS (Super Time Scale), Managing Director of Karnataka State Women Development Corporation, Bengaluru, is now General Manager (Administration) at Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, replacing Mahesh Babu N.

Instructions for Officers
