Hindu Jagran Vedike Protests Against Karnataka Govt in Puttur

 

Puttur, July 8, 2025: Hindu Jagran Vedike and several family groups protested at Darbe. They accused the Karnataka govt of being against Hindus and acting unfairly toward Hindu social workers on July 7. Ajit Kodagu, a leader in the group, said the Congress government was blocking Hindu activists and supporting an “Islamic outfit bank,” which he claimed could harm national unity. The protestors were worried about targeted attacks and said the police were abusing their power. Leaders at the protest promised to protect Hindu identity and push back against what they saw as government overreach. Things are definitely tense in the area right now.

Allegations of Anti-Hindu Policies Spark Outrage 

Ajit Kodagu said the Congress government is stopping Hindu workers from joining events and is supporting an Islamic organization’s bank. He thinks that goes against old values where people used to resist conversions. Kodagu also accused the government of targeting activists and using the police unfairly. He wants legal action against ministers who, in his words, are being provocative. Mohan Das Kaniyoor, the district coordinator, agreed with Ajith Kodagu. He said the government is now anti-Hindu after the election and is filing cases against leaders. He believes this shows the government is getting weaker, with officials just doing what the Chief Minister wants.

The event saw participation from Hindu Jagran Vedike leaders, BJP members, and family organizations, reflecting strong community support. Speakers emphasized that their fight is to preserve national and religious identity, not to engage in political terrorism. They expressed readiness to face future challenges, asserting that the government’s waning influence will not deter their resolve to safeguard societal health and integrity, marking a significant stand against perceived injustices in coastal Karnataka.
