
VHP’s 15th Puttur Mosaru Kudike Utsav 2025: New Committee Announced

Puttur, July 7, 2025: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), established on the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, has announced the organizing committee for the 15th edition of the vibrant Puttur Mosaru Kudike Utsav, a cherished annual event celebrated with fervor in Puttur. The festival, held to commemorate VHP’s foundation day, continues to be a significant cultural and religious highlight in the region.
The selection process for the 2025 committee took place during a meeting at Panchavati, attended by VHP’s Puttur district office-bearers, regional leaders, and dedicated workers. The newly appointed committee is led by Veda Lakshmikanth as President, with Arun Kumar Rai Anaje as Convener, Ganesh Kamath as Secretary, and Keshav Pusad B.V. as Treasurer.
The committee also includes Suhas Marike, Dr. Ananya Lakshmi, Shekhar Brahmanagar, and Nitin Kumar Mangala as Vice-Presidents. Jayanth Karkunja, Chandranath Mukta, Sanjay Banari, and Dinesh Tingaladi have been appointed as Joint Secretaries, while Chetan Boluwara, K. Nagesh Shenai, Bhavit Balnadu, and Jagadish Agali Kaniyooru will serve as Joint Treasurers.
The Puttur Mosaru Kudike Utsav, known for its vibrant reenactment of Lord Krishna’s playful tradition of breaking curd pots, has been a cornerstone of community bonding and cultural heritage in Puttur for over a decade.
