Puttur, August 31, 2026: CAMPCO’s regular Mangaluru branch has announced the commodity purchase rates applicable at its Puttur branch for August 31, 2026.
Among arecanut varieties, Chol and Double Chol are quoted at the highest rate of ₹525 to ₹550 per kg. New arecanut is priced at ₹400–₹475 per kg.
The rates for other arecanut varieties are:- New Fatora: ₹320–₹360 per kg
- Old Fatora: ₹345–₹365 per kg
- New Ulli: ₹130–₹255 per kg
- Old Ulli: ₹120–₹255 per kg
- New Coca: ₹295–₹315 per kg
- Old Coca: ₹295–₹315 per kg
- New Karigot: ₹225–₹255 per kg
- Old Karigot: ₹225–₹255 per kg
For cocoa, fresh cocoa is priced at ₹70–₹100 per kg, while dry cocoa is quoted at ₹270–₹320 per kg.
Black pepper is quoted at ₹415–₹690 per kg, making the quality-based price variation particularly wide.
Campco notes that arecanut rates are determined based on size and quality. Black pepper prices vary according to moisture content and litre weight, while fresh and dry cocoa rates depend on quality.
Rates are specific to the Campco Puttur branch and may vary according to the quality and grading of the produce offered by farmers. Campco is a cooperative institution established to support arecanut and cocoa growers in Karnataka and Kerala.
