Puttur, 15 August 2026: Puttur branch of Muliya Gold & Diamonds celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and a tribute to the sacrifices of those who fought for India's freedom.
Retired NCC officer Captain Mahesh Rai hoisted the national flag at the branch premises. Speaking after the flag hoisting, he recalled the sacrifices, struggles and patriotism of the leaders and freedom fighters who contributed to India's independence.
He called upon the younger generation to become responsible citizens and contribute to the nation's development in their own ways. He also conveyed his Independence Day greetings to the staff members of the institution.
Krishna Narayana Muliya, Managing Director of the institution, and Ashwini Krishna Muliya were present at the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Narayana Muliya recalled India's journey of progress and development across various sectors since Independence. He emphasised that every citizen has an important role to play in the country's continued development.
Branch Manager Raghavendra Patel and members of the staff participated in the celebrations. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets among the employees, marking the Independence Day celebrations at the Puttur branch.
