Puttur, August 26, 2026: Power supply will be temporarily disrupted in several areas of Puttur on Thursday, August 27, due to scheduled maintenance and urgent works, MESCOM has announced.
According to MESCOM, power supply will be stopped from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the 33/11 kV Kampu Power Substation.
Power Shutdown will affect the Kampu Factory, Mukve, Mundur, Kemminje and Mukrampady feeders.
As a result, areas receiving power supply from these feeders, including Mukva, Mundur, Kemminje, Darji, Mukrampady, Koornadka and Sampya, are expected to experience an interruption during the maintenance period.
MESCOM has requested consumers in the affected areas to take note of the scheduled shutdown and extend their cooperation while the maintenance and emergency works are carried out.
The power utility has also advised consumers to plan essential electrical activities accordingly.
