Bengaluru, 26 September 2026: Karnataka Government has transferred Mangaluru Sub-Division Assistant Commissioner Meenakshi Arya, IAS (KN:2023) and posted her as the Chief Executive Officer of Chikkamagaluru Zilla Panchayat.
Transfer order was issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on September 25, 2026. Meenakshi Arya will take charge as CEO of Chikkamagaluru Zilla Panchayat in place of Keerthana H.S., IAS (KN:2020).
Keerthana H.S., who was serving as CEO of Chikkamagaluru Zilla Panchayat, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director of the Northwestern Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), Hubballi. She will replace Priyanga M., IAS, who has been transferred.
Government has also placed Nakul S.S., IAS (KN:2010), Secretary to the Chief Minister, in concurrent charge of the newly created post of Secretary to Government, Department of Global Investment and Non-Resident Indian Affairs, Bengaluru.
Meenakshi Arya's transfer subject to ECI approval
Government notification states that Meenakshi Arya's transfer will be subject to the approval of the Election Commission of India in view of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. Order was issued by T. Mahanthesh, Under Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Services-1), by order and in the name of the Governor of Karnataka.
