Students from Classes 9 to 12 in Karnataka and several other states can apply for the Muskaan Scholarship Programme 2.0 (2026-27).
Scholarship programme is an initiative of Valvoline Cummins Private Limited (VCPL). It aims to support students who are children of commercial vehicle drivers and mechanics, as well as students from economically weaker sections (EWS).
Selected students can receive scholarship support of up to ₹12,000, based on their actual educational expenses. The programme also includes mentoring support through a session on road safety.
Who Can Apply?
Students studying in Classes 9 to 12 in the following states and Union Territory are eligible: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura, Puducherry, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- They must be studying in Classes 9 to 12.
- They must have scored at least 60% marks in their previous class.
- The scholarship is open to children of commercial vehicle drivers, including LMV and HMV drivers, children of mechanics, and students belonging to the EWS category.
- The total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8 lakh.
- Children of employees of Valvoline Cummins Private Limited (VCPL) and Buddy4Study are not eligible.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive:
- Scholarship of up to ₹12,000, based on actual expenses.
- Mentoring support, including a road safety session.
