Puttur, 28 September 2026: Keshava Amai, owner of SRK Ladders, has been re-elected unopposed as president of the Puttur Industrial Association. Rupesh Naik has also been re-elected unopposed as secretary.
New office-bearers were elected at the association’s general body meeting held at its office in the Mukrampady Industrial Area on September 26.
K.P. Mohammed Sadiq of Akarshana Industries has been elected vice-president, while Surekha D. Shetty of the Amchinadka paper-plate manufacturing unit has been elected joint secretary. Leo Martis of Maril Christopher Welding Industries has been elected treasurer, and Shivashankar Bhat has been appointed honorary adviser.
Newly elected executive committee members are Jacob D’Souza, Vishwaprasad Sediapu, Vijayalakshmi R. Shenoy, Prasanna Kumar Rai, Raviraj Bhat, Padmanabha Shetty, Abdul Rahiman Yunik, T.V. Ravindran, Oscar Anand and Mohan Kumar Bolladi.
