Puttur, 27 September 2026: Puttur Taluk unit of the Karnataka Gamaka Kala Parishat, Bengaluru, Dakshina Kannada district, organised a ‘Mane Mane Gamaka Vachana–Vyakhyana’ (Home-to-Home Gamaka Recitation and Interpretation) programme on Friday, September 25.
Programme was held at ‘Srimad’, the residence of unit president Prof. Vedavyasa Ramakunj, as part of the Anantanompi Aradhana Puja. A selected episode titled ‘Sri Krishna Karunya’ from Kumaravyasa Bharata was presented during the programme.
Gamaki Smt. Suvarna Kumari rendered the recitation, while Prof. Madhuru Mohan Kalluraya, recipient of the Karnataka Kalashree Gamaki Gaurava Award, delivered the interpretation.
Unit president Prof. Vedavyasa Ramakunj honoured the artistes by presenting them with shawls. He also welcomed the gathering and delivered the vote of thanks. General Secretary Shankari Sharma, family members, relatives and several art enthusiasts from the locality were present. Well-organised Gamaka programme was appreciated by the audience and art lovers.
