KSR Bengaluru Train Diversions: New Routes and Timings 2025-2026

Bengaluru, July 11, 2025: South Western Railway has announced major changes to several train services, effective August 15, 2025, through January 15, 2026, due to significant infrastructure work at KSR Bengaluru Yard. For these 153 days, six key trains—including the Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Superfast Express and the Kannur-KSR Bengaluru Express—will not depart from KSR Bengaluru. Instead, they’ll run from SMVT Bengaluru or Yesvantpur, following different routes and skipping usual stops like Bengaluru Cant and KSR Bengaluru. Passengers are urged to check revised schedules on the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and plan trips accordingly during this period.

Train No. 12678 Ernakulam KSR Bengaluru Daily Superfast Express, journey commencing from 15.08.2025 to 15.01.2026, will be terminated at SMVT Bengaluru (21:00 hrs) instead of KSR Bengaluru and diverted via Karmelaram, Baiyyappanahalli, SMVT Bengaluru. This train will skip stoppages at Bengaluru Cant and KSR Bengaluru.

Train No. 12677 KSR Bengaluru Ernakulam Daily Express, journey commencing from 16.08.2025 to 16.01.2026, will originate from SMVT Bengaluru (06:10 hrs) instead of KSR Bengaluru and will be diverted via SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli and Karmelaram, skipping stoppages at KSR Bengaluru and Bengaluru Cant.

Train No. 16594 Nanded - KSR Bengaluru Daily Express, journey commencing from 15.08.2025 to 15.01.2026, will be terminated at Yesvantpur (04:15 hrs) instead of KSR Bengaluru and diverted via Yelahanka, Lottegollahalli, Yesvantpur, skipping stoppages at Bengaluru Cant and KSR Bengaluru.

Train No. 16593 KSR Bengaluru - Nanded Daily Express, journey commencing from 16.08.2025 to 16.01.2026, will originate from Yesvantpur (23:15 hrs) instead of KSR Bengaluru and will be diverted via Yesvantpur, Lottegollahalli and Yelahanka, skipping stoppages at KSR Bengaluru and Bengaluru Cant.

Train No. 16512 Kannur KSR Bengaluru Daily Express, journey commencing from 15.08.2025 to 15.01.2026, will be terminated at SMVT Bengaluru (07:45 hrs) instead of KSR Bengaluru and diverted via Kunigal, Chikbanavar, Yesvantpur, Hebbal, Banaswadi & SMVT Bengaluru. This train will skip stoppage at KSR Bengaluru.

Train No. 16511 KSR Bengaluru - Kannur Daily Express, journey commencing from 16.08.2025 to 16.01.2026, will originate from SMVT Bengaluru (20:00 hrs) instead of KSR Bengaluru and diverted via SMVT Bengaluru, Banaswadi, Hebbal, Yesvantpur Chikbanavar & Kunigal. This train will skip stoppage at KSR Bengaluru.
