Puttur, August 6, 2025: Sri Balamuri Vidyaganapati Temple, nestled in the heart of Puttur Karmala, Bannur, Bharatinagar, is all set to host traditional Sri Ganeshotsav festival come August 27, 2025. This revered place of worship is buzzing with excitement as the temple committee unveiled the invitation during a special puja on Tuesday evening, signaling the official start of the countdown to the grand celebration.
The auspicious invitation was released in a gathering that saw the convergence of notable figures from the community. Bonanthaya Shivashankar Bhat, the esteemed Director of Sri Akhila Havyaka Mahasabha, was present to bless the occasion, lending his esteemed presence to the commencement of the preparations. The local dignitaries from the Puttur unit of Havyaka Mahasabha, including Venugopal Bhat, Venkatakrishna Bhat, Rajagopal Bhat, and Chandrashekar Bhat, were also in attendance, their participation adding to the festive aura.

They have also made it known that those wishing to offer their contributions to the divine festivities can do so by participating in the Seva programs. A contribution of ₹500 will grant you the opportunity to be part of the grand Rangapooja, while ₹250 allows you to take part in the morning's pious Ganapati Havana.
