MLA Ashok Kumar Rai inaugurates Sri Krishna Janmashtami at Puttur’s Mini Vidhana Soudha, joined by Guddappa Gowda and dignitaries.

Puttur, August 17, 2025: The teachings of Lord Krishna, emphasizing responsibility, integrity, and honesty as the pillars of effective governance, were highlighted by Guddappa Gowda Balya, Administrative Officer of AVG English Medium School. 

Krishna’s Teachings Inspire Governance

Guddappa Gowda Balya emphasized Lord Krishna’s principles of responsibility, integrity, and honesty as key to effective administration. Speaking at the Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations held at the taluk office auditorium in Puttur’s Mini Vidhana Soudha, he emphasized that Krishna’s life serves as a timeless lesson for society. “Krishna exemplified that one born must strive to be an achiever,” Gowda said, urging the audience to draw inspiration from Krishna’s life.

Dignitaries Grace the Event

MLA Ashok Kumar Rai inaugurated the event, joined by leaders from the taluk’s Yadav community and administration. The event, organized by the Taluk National Festivals Celebration Committee, Taluk Goll (Yadav) Association, and Taluk Yadav Sabha Committee, was inaugurated by Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai. The program saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including Shriprasad Panaje, President of Taluk Yadav Sabha; E.S. Vasudeva, President of Goll (Yadav) Association; S.B. Kudalagi, Tahsildar and President of the National Festivals Celebration Committee; and Umanath Shetty Perne, President of the Guarantee Implementation Committee.

Dayanand D.T. from the Revenue Department welcomed the gathering and compered the event, while Gopal delivered the vote of thanks. The program highlighted Krishna’s teachings as a guide for responsible living and effective administration.
