Bengaluru, July 26: The Karnataka Government has issued a revised transfer notification for Assistant Directors of Agriculture and Agriculture Officers working across the state, making several changes to the transfer orders that were originally issued on May 27, 2026.
The revised notification, issued by the Department of Agriculture, modifies the postings of several officers in the interest of public administration. Some officers have been shifted to new locations, while a few earlier transfer orders have been corrected, cancelled, or kept on hold.
For Dakshina Kannada, the notification includes a change related to Mangaluru. Assistant Director of Agriculture Preeti Teli, who had earlier been transferred from Bagalkote to the Seed Testing Laboratory, Mangaluru, will now continue in her existing post following the revised order.
The notification also contains corrections and revised postings involving officers in Dharwad, Bagalkote, Mandya, Gadag, Vijayapura, Belagavi, Koppal, Davanagere, Hassan, Chikkaballapura, Tumakuru and several other districts.
According to the government order, all revised transfers and modifications will take effect immediately and remain in force until further instructions.
There are no transfer orders related to Puttur or the Agriculture Department offices in Puttur in this notification.
