Puttur, 29 September 2026: Puttur City Mandal Mahila Morcha organised a “Seva Sankalp” programme at the Rakteshwari Nagara Anganwadi Centre under the Bolwar Shakti Kendra.
Programme was organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and dedication, according to the organisers. During the programme, Anganwadi teacher Rama Rai, helper Meenakshi and ASHA worker Bhavya were felicitated for their service.
Speaking at the event, BJP District Secretary Vidya R. Gowri explained the role of Anganwadi centres in grassroots-level community service. She also appreciated the support provided by the Anganwadi teacher and helper during SIR-related work.
Sweets were distributed to the Anganwadi children following the felicitation. Puttur City Mandal Mahila Morcha president Swarnalatha, general secretary Asha Bhagwan, Secretary Sunitha, and parents of the Anganwadi children were present.
