Bengaluru, September 4, 2026: Karnataka Government has transferred and posted 18 Tahsildar-level officers across various districts and government departments, citing public and administrative interest.
Orders were issued by the Revenue Department (Services-3) on September 3, 2026, with immediate effect and until further orders. The transfers include postings to vacant positions in districts such as Yadgir, Raichur, Chikkamagaluru, Bagalkot, Belagavi, Chitradurga, Bengaluru, Mysuru and Gadag. Among the key postings, Sangamesh Chidge, Tahsildar Grade-2 currently serving in the District Urban Development Cell in Ballari, has been posted as Municipal Tahsildar in Yadgir.
M.R. Shanmukh, Tahsildar Grade-2 at Karatagi in Koppal district, has been posted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Raichur, while H.C. Sujatha has been posted as Tahsildar Grade-2 at N.R. Pura in Chikkamagaluru district.
In Belagavi district, M.V. Biradar Patel has been transferred from Athani to Ramdurg, while R.S. Valasang has been transferred from Ramdurg to Athani. Other postings include S.B. Kamble from Bilagi to Jamkhandi in Bagalkot district and G.K. Manjunath to Challakere in Chitradurga district.
Order also includes postings to specialised government offices. V.S. Ravindra, serving with GAIL Bengaluru, has been posted to BMTF, while G.V. Tulasi has been posted as Tahsildar at the Karnataka Road Development Corporation Limited in Bengaluru.
Rukiya Begum, Tahsildar Grade-1 at Saligrama in Mysuru district, will continue in her present post after the government cancelled only the transfer ordered in an earlier notification dated July 2, 2026. Notification was approved by the Chief Minister and issued by the Revenue Department in the name and by order of the Governor of Karnataka.
