Puttur, 26 September 2026: A mass singing of the patriotic song Vande Mataram was organised at Vivekananda English Medium School, Thenkila, Puttur, as part of the ‘Namami Bharatam’ campaign of Vidya Bharati, Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan, marking the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram.
A total of 2,180 students of the school participated in the programme and sang Vande Mataram together in one voice, expressing their patriotic spirit and devotion to the nation.
Members of the school management, three other guests, and 120 teaching and non-teaching staff members actively participated in the programme and contributed to its successful conduct.
Campaign created a strong atmosphere of patriotism across the school campus and provided students with an opportunity to participate collectively in an event centred on national pride.
