Power shutdown will also affect power supply from the 110/33/11 kV Puttur Electricity Substation.
Affected areas include Darbe, KSRTC, Nellikatte, Kallare, Samethadka, Hanuman Mill, Ashwini Circle, IB, M.T. Road, Kodippady, Padur, Kabaka, Sediapapu, Kodimbady, Mathantabettu, Shantinagar, Darandkukke and Bellippady.
MESCOM has requested electricity consumers in these areas to take note of the shutdown and cooperate with the maintenance work. Power shutdown is scheduled from 10 am to 5 pm on September 24. The timing may be subject to changes depending on the work.
