Bengaluru, 23 September 2026: Karnataka Government has transferred 10 IAS officers and given additional responsibilities to some officers.
Transfers were announced through a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on September 22, 2026.
Dr. Thrilok Chandra K.V., IAS (KN:2007), has been transferred from the Planning, Programme Monitoring and Statistics Department. He has been posted as Secretary to Government, Agriculture Department.
The earlier transfer order of Dr. Rakesh Kumar K., IAS (KN:2012), as Commissioner of the Social Welfare Department has been withdrawn. He has now been posted as Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar K. will also hold the concurrent charge of Commissioner, Survey Settlement and Land Records.
Dr. Arundhathi Chandrashekar, IAS (KN:2012), has been transferred from the Panchayat Raj department. She has been posted as Commissioner of Treasuries.
Patil Yalagouda Shivanagouda, IAS (KN:2012), has been transferred from the Commerce and Industries Department. He has been posted as Commissioner for Rural Development.
He will also hold the concurrent charge of Commissioner for Panchayat Raj and Executive Director of the Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust.
Vyshali M.L., IAS (KN:2013), has been transferred from HESCOM. She has been posted as Managing Director of Mysuru Sales International Limited (MSIL).
Shashidhar Kurera, IAS (KN:2018), Managing Director of GESCOM, has been given the concurrent charge of Managing Director of The Hutti Gold Mines Company Limited.
Anand Prakash Meena, IAS (KN:2019), has been transferred from Kodagu Zilla Panchayat. He has been posted as CEO of Vijayapura Zilla Panchayat.
Rishi Anand, IAS (KN:2020), has been transferred from Vijayapura Zilla Panchayat and posted as CEO of Shivamogga Zilla Panchayat.
Hemanth N., IAS (KN:2020), has been transferred from Shivamogga Zilla Panchayat. He has been posted as Managing Director of HESCOM, Hubballi.
Dinesh Kumar Meena, IAS (KN:2023), has been transferred from the Kollegala Sub-Division. He has been posted as CEO of Kodagu Zilla Panchayat.
The government said Dinesh Kumar Meena's transfer will be subject to the approval of the Election Commission of India because of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
The notification was issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms in the name of the Governor of Karnataka.
