Bengaluru, 23 September 2026: Youth4Impact, a national youth leadership development programme, was launched in Bengaluru on Monday at PES University.
Bengaluru chapter will engage 600 young people as part of a national programme that aims to reach more than 3,600 participants across India. Programme is being organised by Jagriti Yatra and AIESEC in India, with support from Reliance Foundation and Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL).
Bengaluru is the first city where the programme has been launched. Programme is designed for students aged 18 years and above. Applications are open until September 24, 2026.
Youth4Impact combines leadership development, expert-led learning and community volunteering. Participants will learn and engage in four focus areas:
- Education
- Career Readiness
- Environment Action
- Special Care Communities
Programme will also provide participants with opportunities to work with communities and understand different social realities. Organisers said the programme aims to help young people develop skills such as empathy, collaboration, responsibility and leadership through practical experiences.
“Jagriti has always believed that young people discover their potential when they step beyond the familiar and experience the India they have not yet seen,” said Chinmay Vadnere, COO, Jagriti Yatra.
He said Youth4Impact combines knowledge and skills with perspective, empathy and community experience.
Programme is being rolled out across Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Surat, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Delhi. Participants who complete the programme will also have access to internship opportunities, according to the organisers.
The programme will also recognise participants who demonstrate outstanding leadership. Twenty selected participants from across the programme will get an opportunity to join Jagriti Yatra 2026. They will gain further exposure to leaders, institutions and ideas from different parts of India. Interested students can apply through the Youth4Impact website before September 24, 2026.
