 Puttur, July 25: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released a recruitment notification inviting applications for 111 vacancies in various administrative positions, offering graduates an opportunity to work with India's premier space agency.

The recruitment, announced through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), covers the posts of Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Junior Personal Assistant (JPA) and Stenographer in ISRO centres and autonomous bodies across the country.

According to the notification, the vacancies are spread across ISRO centres in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hassan, Hyderabad, Mahendragiri, New Delhi, Sriharikota and Thiruvananthapuram. Sriharikota has the highest number of vacancies with 32 posts, followed by Ahmedabad (27), Bengaluru (24) and Hyderabad (13).

Candidates applying for the Assistant and Upper Division Clerk posts should possess a graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale, along with proficiency in computer applications.

For Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer posts, applicants must hold a graduation degree with the prescribed minimum marks or an equivalent diploma in Commercial or Secretarial Practice. Candidates are also required to have English stenography speed of 60 words per minute and computer proficiency.

The minimum age prescribed is 18 years, while the upper age limit is 28 years as on the date specified in the notification. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories, persons with benchmark disabilities, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories in accordance with Government of India rules.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₹500 while submitting the online application. As per the notification, the fee will be refunded to eligible candidates after the written examination, subject to the conditions mentioned by ISRO.

ISRO stated that the recruitment aims to fill administrative support positions essential for the organisation's scientific and space research programmes. These employees play a key role in supporting the functioning of ISRO's research centres and mission activities across the country.
