Puttur, July 27: As part of the preparations for the renovation and Brahmakalashotsava of Sri Lakshmivenkataramana Math, Polya, scheduled to be held from February 8, 2027, members of the Math Management Committee and the Renovation and Brahmakalashotsava Committee offered special prayers to Sri Mahalingeshwara, Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Puttur, Dakshina Kannada
The prayers were held seeking the smooth and successful conduct of the renovation works and the upcoming religious celebrations. Among those present were Math Management Committee President Umashankar Edurkal, Renovation and Brahmakalashotsava Committee President Dr Krishna Prasanna, General Secretary Dr Shashidhar Kaje, Treasurer Manjalgiri Narayana Bhat, and committee members Kodippadi Ramachandra Bhat (Polya), Nandakishore Polya, Jayananda, Ramesh Padenjaru, Eashtara Gowda Pulittadi, Kodippadi Prema Bhat (Polya), Sandhya Kaje, Jayalakshmi Mura, Anuradha Mura and Tulasi Mura.
The Sri Lakshmivenkataramana Math Renovation and Brahmakalashotsava is scheduled to begin on February 8, 2027, and preparations for the major religious event are already underway.
