Free Ayushman, e-Shram Card Registration Held for Workers in Puttur

Puttur, 11 August 2026: A free registration drive for Ayushman cards, e-Shram cards and other major Central government schemes was organised for workers and their dependants in Puttur.

The programme was jointly organised by the Manava Karnataka Kannada Karmikara Sangha and the Dharmasthala Rural Development Project at Anuraga Vathara in the city. Presiding over the programme, the organisation’s district president, Vilaid John Lobo, urged workers and their dependants to make use of the facilities provided through the registration drive.

The programme was inaugurated by Jayaram Kulal, adviser to the organisation and president of the Sri Mahalingeshwara Okkoota. He said the arrangements made for the benefit of the organisation’s members should be utilised by everyone.

Speaking on the occasion, he also said that the NPS pension scheme can be opened even for young children and could help support their higher education in the future. 

Jeevan, nodal officer of the Rural Development Project, supervisor Leetha, Sangha working president Rajesh Mukt, general secretary Parameshwara and Seva representative Nalinakshi were present. Vimala, Bhagyashree and Manisha assisted with the registration of beneficiaries for the various schemes.
